October has dawned and writers all over the world knows what that means – it’s NaNoWriMo novel planning time!
My NaNo novel is definitely going to be the first draft of Papier en porselein (Paper and Porcelain) and I am currently busy with research about porcelain. At the moment I am reading The White Road: A Journey into Obsession by Edmund de Waal. October will therefore be spent doing research as well as writing a macro and micro outline of the story.
Here’s the link to my Pinterest inspiration board for Papier en porselein.
Hi Carin,
Papier en porselein looks like a really intriguing novel! The Pinterest inspiration images are stunning.
It’s interesting to see that the English version of your title capitalises “Porcelain” but the Afrikaans doesn’t. Is this the case with most Afrikaans titles?
Good luck with your planning!

Thanks! I’m really looking forward to writing it! 😀
Yes, for Afrikaans only the first word of a title is capitalised 🙂

I love the title of your W.I.P! And your inspiration board is very intriguing. I’m curious as to what type of story it’ll be.

Thanks! It’s going to be an urban fantasy story (well, at least I can say that at the moment!) 😀
